Conclave 2024
I love the idea of "certainty as a sin" and the reality of uncertainty and religious crises of people who devoted their lives to religion. There's also something about refusing to compromise for the "least bad option" and the courage that that sometimes takes.

To me the most beautiful part of this movie was the lack of shame in each of the relationships. In the way that Na Young talks w her mom, in the way the children played together in front of their parents, in they way Na Young lets herself feel everything. Vulnerable enough to let herself feel huge emotions but also unafraid of losing herself or her life in them.

Transformers One 2024
If you decided to write a story about robots would you also make it so the robots have to sleep / are gendered / use all the same modes of transportation as we do / have a god whose body and spirit is literally the core of their planet / have a totalitarian govt overthrown briefly by a fascist revolutionist / then finally make a hero rise from the dead (via transformers god) to save the day?
Fewer transformer dinosaurs than i would have liked
p.s. breaking knews that "auto" in autobots stands for "autonomy"
