Was the director on drugs when he wrote this??? Why was this a musical?? It did nothing for the film??? Looked at my phone less times to check the time than a complete unknown though, so I guess I was engaged enough for better or for worse. The concept was interesting but could have been executed better. I’ve also seen more poorly executed films, but that doesn’t mean it should be nominated for best picture.
