This film feels very much like a made for TV movie. I'm kinda surprised it got a theatrical release. Matthew Broderick as evil Inspector Gadget is easily his liveliest acting performance. That being said, he still isn't that great in this. However, the practical effects and enjoyably dated cgi makes the film memorable, though I think they could've utilized that a lot more.
