  First Fellini I’ve seen in color and boy was it eye-popping and gorgeous to look at. This one has an especially carnal and anxious mood. A bit light on story and reliant on its imagery and gags but they’re consistently surprising. The score is well patterned, wistful and fun. It maybe the color but some of the sequences, especially at the next door neighbor’s house feel kind of overwrought and dated in a way that I haven’t gotten from his…
