I liked but didn’t love the novel, but I had faith director Bong would be able to plus it up a bit. I can forgive a screenplay with some pacing issues and an overstuffed third act when it’s so consistently hilarious, and everyone involved is clearly having so much fun. I’ll probably watch this another hundred times.
