Takes itself a little too seriously which makes it feel like one of those straight-faced parody movies and not an actual attempt to make a movie. Lines are delivered like the cast are rehearsing and not aware they're rolling, whilst the script feels like a first draft with all their Alien and Aliens rip-off moments held together with placeholder dialogue like "awh sheeeeeet" and "I want answers!" etc.

Wanted to watch this because I was curious to see if the Boggy Creek "franchise" had been rebooted with a bit of effort, or if it is forever destined to be awful B-movies. I am pleased to report that it's most definitely the latter!
