No Country for Old Men 2007
Ok granted I needed wendigoon to explain the book/movie to me, I really love this. The messaging... Chefs kiss especially in today's world. I listened to a good bit of the audiobook before watching this and I felt like Leonardo snapping at the TV every time I heard lines direct from the book.

Holy shit, this is THEEEE definitive version of Venus in Fur anyone should watch. If you're curious about the play, don't bother. Somehow the french version made by a convicted rapist has managed to be less misogynistic and problematic. Crazy, I know.

My long awaited 300th film to log onto letterboxd has finally been completed. I polled on reddit, and it was between this, The Shining, The Tenant, Fearless Vampire Killers, Tess, and All Quiet on The Western Front. The Godfather won by a margin, followed by The Shining.
