Tried watching this but ended up turning it off once Tucker was on the screen.
There’s some really nice costumes and looks, and whilst the story is very simple it does showcase an interesting Sci-fi picture of the world. Sadly it just stays a picture, because so much of the film is just focusing on too many working parts; it’s like entire parts of the film are being ad-libbed. Watching this film made me wonder what life must be like…
A very weird film but also a very entertaining watch, Greek movie directors need to be stopped
Maybe too many sex scenes in it but it’s not gratuitous, treads that line very finely (went into the film knowing next to nothing about it, recommend also going into it ‘blind’
Amazing performances from Stone, Dafoe, and Marky Mark - peripheral characters also mostly good (including the very ‘Mr Darcy’ character who feels very parodied)
