  This movie is what got me obsessed with with the 1996 disaster and Mount Everest in general. The book (by Jon Krakauer) this movie (and the 2015 Everest movie) is based on is a great read. But there are also other books by other survivors that should read as there are different opinions about who is to blame about what happened. Almost finished reading Anatoli Boukreev's The Climb which is also a great book about the incident. There are also many interviews from the survivors available on YouTube.
