Nausicaa if it was a Whole Foods Adam Sandler movie with Really Quiet Elliott Smith and Sauce Nazi in Space edition Melania Trump played by Toni Collette. felt like a bad Rick and Morty episode in a good way

Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer

    ★★

Unbelievably entertaining but mostly because Baudi Moovan, John Green, most of the other interviewees, and the out of touch editing were all so delightfully dorky

    Saltburn

The first point of comparison that comes to mind is Midsommar. It and Saltburn both have flashy, fun production design and some of the most comically terrible scenes i have ever seen. The difference is, while Midsommar undermined a functional story about a dying relationship with its ridiculousness, Saltburn is, in spite of its spectacle, a boring and meaningless waste of time.

More than Midsommar, what this reminds me of is Baz Luhrmann's Great Gatsby: a class of orgiastic excess feigning self-awareness while upholding its own caricaturish cliquey status quo. Don't write obsessive middle class "parasites" into your movie unless you're Bong Joon Ho.
