If you've seen this batshit 1992 Francis Ford Coppola version of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula" then Coppola's 'Megalopolis" should be no real surprise. This is a fairly faithful adaption of parts of the epistolry novel, and Coppola's achievement is making the titular character sympathetic, human, erotic, and terrifying, played with gusto by Gary Oldman.
