Heroic Americans liberalizing a made-up country of uncivilization, poverty and dust. Worst kind of movie I have ever seen. I apologize to myself for thinking Ryan Gosling could make any movie better with his acting. Such a waste of time.

The Shining 1980
Just as disturbing as any Kubrick movie. Kubrick does his thing again by doing a favor for all the people out there with OCDs by shooting the scenes with a one-point perspective. Excessive amount of symmetry exposure alert!

3rd time I am watching this movie and it manages to give me goosebumps every time. Iceland is one of the places I have always wanted to visit, but I’ve seen how isolated, helpless and alone living there could make people feel thanks to this movie. Some saddening irony is well put in the bloodbath scene. The only colorful thing being the poured blood gives us some clues about the ending but I failed to see how dramatic the movie was until the ending. Sarcasm, self-critisizm, dark humor and profoundness. All in one! I guess the filming equipment could have been better though.
