  I was concerned that this film would challenge my delicate little scaredy cat sensibilities; falling to the assumption that anything that combines food with the genre of horror/thrill is bound to be gruesome. But as a devoted cook (who also consumes massive amounts of chef-y television), I found this dark comedy to be a well-deserved poke at epicurean pomposity. The Menu indeed offers its fair share of gore, and a few jump-scarish moments. But it is indeed what it promises…
