  It is astonishing how much worse CGI and special effects have gotten in normal releases over the last 15 years or so. I wouldn’t be shocked to hear swaths of this movie was written by AI and I think there’s a truly great movie buried somewhere in here.  Final result is sort of clunky and feels like it sort of hints at larger internal struggles of these characters without ever fully digging into and exploring them.  As a whole it’s perfectly average
