Watched this on the plane and I enjoyed it so much more than I was expecting to. While it was obviously dramatized, it's a nice reminder that not even the church is immune to politics.

I knew what I was getting into myself with this one and was satisfied. There were enough creative twists and turns and the expected action base with slightly dark humor to keep me entertained on a flight.
This was very different than I expected - I thought this would be mainly about the rivalry on and off the court to win Zendaya's character over, and in some way it was, it was just a lot more twisted than I expected. Gave me Saltburn vibes a little bit where it's manipulative and fucked up but so well done that I have to give them credit. So many scenes focusing on intense camera angles and sounds that it made me borderline uncomfortable at times. I loved the interlayering of timelines rather than one linear progression.
