I can quote pretty much the entire movie.
Frenemies to lovers, check. Makeover montage, check. Ambiguously gay mentor and villain, check check.
Hate the sequel, tho.

My FAVORITE P&P adaptation. Socially awkward Darcy hits all of the notes. Joe Wright's insistence on having all of the sisters spend an entire summer together before filming significantly adds to the lived-in feel of the film. His music video background also heightens all of the emotional scenes (e.g. HAND. FLEXING!!!!!).

The scene where lucilla visits a chained up maximus... homg
My love for revenge movies circles back to Count of Monte Cristo. Watching - no, viscerally experiencing - Edmond Dantes' transformation from naively optimistic and emotionally vulnerable young man to ruthless "money buries all my troubles into the cold, hard earth" is enthralling as heck. Also, love a "poor little rich boy fails miserably at everything" plotline.
I watch Count of Monte Cristo at least every other month.
