Love Actually 2003
A wretched film that I genuinely hate. The Mr. Bean cameo makes me think that the sparks of satire and spoofs and goofs I thought I saw might have been intentional, but they mostly just left me confused. There were also many, many ham-fisted attempts to emotionally manipulate the audience that just felt mean and unnecessary. Furthermore, let us collectively stop and consider for a moment what Andrew Lincoln planned to do with that video he made, he even had it transferred to VHS for ease of viewing in the comfort of his own home, what a pervert.
Awful movie, avoid at all costs.

Watched the 4.5+ hour director's cut in chunks over the course of about a month. A childhood favorite that has now become one of my certified dad flicks. A ton of attention is paid to historical accuracy, with shooting done on the actual battlefield and excellent work with the uniforms. I think the performances are great but the score could be better, the battle scenes while great in scale could be harder hitting, and those beards are wild.
