  While I initially did enjoy this film quite a bit I wasn't exactly as HUGE on it as most people seemed to be, but for some reason it burrowed it’s way into my mind and has taken up a large chunk of real estate, begging me to re-experience what I am now certain is one of the more vital films to be released this year.

  Absolutely adored this! Genuinely hilarious, fluidly animated action, a gorgeously grimey ooze drenched aesthetic, and a killer hip-hop soundtrack— the necessary ingredients to make a kick ass TMNT film, on top of it's modernization of the turtles as true authentic teenagers while maintaining that tight-knit family dynamic. Also can’t praise the voice acting enough; they found an incredible cast for the turtles. Was immediately endeared by the film, and left the theater yearning for more!

  Yeah this movie is still a whole lot of fun. Just a tight, briskly paced action-comedy that hits most of it’s marks. Felt refreshing then, but even far removed from the CBM landscape that left an opening for Deadpool to thrive in, I still have a considerable amount of respect for this film and the passion behind it from everyone involved.
