Not to be confused with the documentary of the same name. This is not about the Rolling Stones at Altamont. It is about a modern (1986) Japanese family torn to shreds by their own insatiable appetites.
The always entertaining Hisayasu Sato's punked out take on the collapse of the Japanese nuclear family. Or should I say "post-nuclear" family. A tender tale of a teenage girl's sexual awakening replete with milk guzzling, eyeball licking, used tampons, incestual rape, rape by foreign object, razor blade swallowing, sadism, suicide and, yes, murder. Are you happy now?
