Really fun and surprisingly pretty funny. Pleasantly surprised by Chris Pratt's voice acting, but not surprised by Jack Black...of course he would be a good Bowser. Lots of callbacks to the games and subtle hints in the music, which I enjoyed.

Strangers on a Train 1951
It's really unique how the premise is dropped on you at the very beginning, and then the suspense lies with you trying to figure out if it's going to happen or not. The scenes with no dialogue where he's following someone were super unsettling but very well done. The buildup toward the end was suspenseful, but the actual ending didn't blow my mind or anything. Solid and fun movie overall, though.

The Batman 2022
On this watch, I noticed the cinematography and score a little less than I did watching it in theaters, so I was able to focus more on the story and pick up details that I missed the first time. It feels like a live action batman comic, if that makes sense. The riddler is a compelling psychopath bad guy, but it felt like his last "riddle" / plot was a little too easy to figure out. Maybe I've been watching too many detective shows.
