I remember seeing this when it first came out, but didn’t remember hardly anything about it. Watching it now just made me think, what if Michael Bay remade Blade Runner. There were a few things I thought were pretty cool in this movie but for the most part, the CGI gave off early 2000 Star Wars prequel vibes. I liked Alan Tudyk as Sonny. I really don’t understand why they didn’t just use practical effects for the robots. It would’ve made it a lot creepier.

My Dinner with Andre 1981
Andre Gregory is a delight, I could listen to him for talk hours. I’ve always loved Wallace Shawn. There’s a great moment when Shawn tells Gregory that he just doesn’t know how anybody could love anything more than how much he loves reading the Charlton Heston autobiography. I saw this movie for the first time ten years ago. I love everything about this movie. I love the idea of two old friends talking over dinner.
