The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A really good antifascist film right up until the final reveal. Spoiler: the alien who was invading earth through mind control was actually trying to save it from an asteroid the entire time. It was foreshadowed at the beginning but still. I mean, he was looming ominously above the earth mind controlling people with a chewing gum (from a tainted batch at the gum factory!) that lodged into their brains via their tongues, what do you want me to think? Anyway, fantastic animation, really fun and dynamic character relationships. I fully laughed out loud several times throughout the movie.

I’m so glad I got to see this movie before a wildfire started by a gender reveal party got me. That being said the theater experience was a little weird. No air conditioning, no surround sound speakers, very poor visual and audio quality. Oh wait...I streamed it on my laptop, suck it Chris Nolan!
