  I’m so happy writing this review right now, because I have so much to say about so little. This movie was boring while being simultaneously too on the nose and confusing. The 88 minutes I spent watching it is nothing compared to the 12 hours I’ve spent thinking about it.

  Adam Sandler-a-thon #6

  This is maybe the most fun movie to me so far, but I cannot for the life of me give it a positive review because Sandler spends 90 minutes of this movie giving his impression of a neurodivergent man for laughs. It’s mainly just sad how everyone around him constantly picks on him and belittles him until he starts playing football. The supporting cast is pretty great though, love Henry Winkler.

  Possibly the most paradoxical movie I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. I loved this film. It’s spectacular, but I don’t even really want to talk about the film itself beyond the recommendation to go watch it as soon as possible. I want to talk about the marketing and the ideas behind the film.
