Little Women 2019
I’ve been wanting to watch this film for so long and while I’m for sure not the target audience, I absolutely loved all of this film. There are so many memorable screenshots that stick to my mind when I think of it, but all of the frames illustrating the relationships between characters are done so well and speak so much with just its cinematography. I’m always a sucker for colors and the usage of it in this film is used so well.

The Gentlemen 2019
This was just funny but it was a really good film from a cinematic standpoint. A lot of comedic moments that stuck out to me that I could just tell this was a fun project for the team. I especially liked how they incorporated text into certain scenes to fill in setting and use of other graphics that seamlessly fit in.

Children of Men 2006
Wow this was a profound film. I’m curious about the sets used while filming, but this entire film’s various messages and concepts are nothing to ignore. To me it was one of hope but the despair filled world did wonders of showcasing a part of human nature and tendencies. I loved the symbolism throughout the film but especially how cinematography is weaved into it.

Perfect Days 2023
It’s a really peaceful watch and may be boring for some but to me it was memorable in its mundaneness and ending. There’s a lot you can infer about this film but the cinematography was a main part of it and done really nicely. I really liked the color grading here too in multiple scenes and the usage of a lack of color for some.
