Satan 2006
Sheitan is pure chaos from start to finish. While it has its share of disturbing moments, it is just as much into being bizarre and darkly comedic. The film thrives on its weird atmosphere, offbeat characters, and an unshakable sense that something is very wrong from the start.
Vincent Cassel steals the show with an unhinged performance that is equal parts unsettling and hilarious. His character is the heart of the madness, keeping it unpredictable with every scene he’s in.…

Revelations 2025
I enjoyed Revelations quite a bit. Some of the criticism has been harsh, likely because Yeon Sang-ho set such a high standard with his previous work. The film follows three vastly different characters whose lives become intertwined in unexpected ways. Certain aspects even reminded me of Frailty.
At its core, the story explores how our past can haunt us and shape the people we become. While it’s not an exceptional film, it’s a well-crafted crime thriller that puts an interesting spin on familiar themes.
Overall, Revelations is a 7/10 for me.

When Evil Lurks 2023
After watching When Evil Lurks twice now, I can confidently say that Demián Rugna has cemented himself as one of the best modern horror directors, and by far my favorite that I've discovered from Argentina. Ezequiel Rodríguez gives a powerful performance as a man barely holding it together while everything spirals out of control. Demián Salomón, who I’ve seen in many Argentinian…

Demon City 2025
I actually enjoyed Demon City much more than I expected. I’ve never seen the anime it’s based on, so I have no basis for comparison. Although it’s very over-the-top and unrealistic, I found the fight sequences and gore entertaining. It also had a solid story, which could have been more developed in certain areas, but it’s good for what it is.
Overall, Demon City is a 7.5/10 for me.
