Plato’s allegory of the cave!!!!
Visually stunning. I love the story shown through dance. It was very captivating. The score was beautiful! I loved the imagery.

Whatever happened to 90 minute films???
This was good! Very cool to consider free will in this regard. I also liked the theme of willpower and recognizing that even if everything seems like it’s against you, sometimes you just have to persevere in order to achieve the life you wish for yourself. Sometimes even the biggest barriers may be able to be crossed!

Eraserhead 1977
In honour of David Lynch, I decided today would be the day I watch Eraserhead.
This film has a very interesting atmosphere; it feels foreign and not of this world. It’s so uncomfortable and anxious-feeling. Cold, grim, and bleak, which is enhanced by the black and white shots.
Those tiny chickens were so weird.
I wasn’t expecting the baby to be so slimy. The incessant crying was so grating.
Disjointed with sharp transitions, just like a dream, or maybe a nightmare?
I was so mesmerized for the last 30 minutes of this film.
