Loved the scenes through the lens of the family’s camera, it made it feel so whimsical and nostalgic like we were seeing “the good ole days” while they were living them. I think the story did such an amazing job making you feel like you know and love the family so I felt their pain with all the events. The ending lost me with that connection but still enjoyed it overall!

What started out as an odd yet intriguing story turned into a a pile of burning trash that didn’t even really burn that brightly, it just sorta peetered out. I was invested in the premise even though the musical numbers and characters and plot were a bit stilted. But I could have come up with countless other ways they should have taken the story and they chose the most chaotic and surface-level route. I can’t even really recommend for anyone to watch this for the memes, just watch the song clips on youtube.

Much better experience watching it this time so now i can say that this movie was so so good.
Except the cinema cleaning/guard lady person told me to take my feet off the seat in front of me and I got a bit scared bc there were two other guard people watching her do that too like yasssss!!! get her gurl!!!!
5 min later I see her walking towards me again as her guard friends watch her, and I realize…

Didn’t like Margo Robbie’s character toward the end bc it felt very one dimensional. She was just crazy and has no other personality trait besides that. Also not a strong story line that I felt super attached to so I was feeling pretty indifferent toward most of the people. It gave me the same stress that I got from Uncut Jems but without Adam Sandler who had much more to his character than being crazy. I can’t stand stressful characters…
