Lin Manuel Miranda is a musical genius. This movie completely went beyond my expectations. I cried multiple times. I was yelling at the screen. I full on grooved to the soundtrack. I even stood up to cheer. I annoyed my parents so much with the amount of passion I had for this film. Such an unexpected storyline with a diverse and extremely talented cast. It was vibrant, energetic, and thoughtful! Just all around a REAL and touching movie. Beautiful.

I watched this with a 13 year old boy, surrounded by a theatre filled to the brim with kiddos. The secondhand embarrassment I felt when the main characters LITERALLY JUST TOUCHED each other was actually alarming?!? Wade is definitely me in cartoon form and I thoroughly enjoyed that.

The relationships and bond between each individual was so beautifully portrayed and developed. Experiencing Rocket’s backstory was heartbreaking but so eye opening to who he is. I loved how Mantis found a new confidence and capability to fight back. Nebula seemed so steady and calm being apart of the guardians in…
