A really well done story about how if you aren’t careful, when seeking success you can lose yourself and hurt others. Very interesting and engaging, but not the type of movie where you can root for its main character.

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Definitely not the worst thing marvel has made in recent years, but it’s definitely incredibly messy. The movie definitely has some high points, and I think they at least got Sam’s character right after I felt he was really off in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but the plot just doesn’t work at several points.
For me, the aerial combat sequence and Red Hulk sequence were both really cool, but most of the movie was trying to be like Captain…

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On 2021
Marcel the Shell is just such a legend. His innocent remarks about life and the world he lives in, as well as the world we live in, are hilarious, adorable, and inspiring all at the same time.
This film just has so much charm. It’s a sweet story about a childlike shell, but is also really thoughtful and brought me to tears by the end.
I will be revisiting this film in the future, especially at times when I feel my own world is changing.
I just really hope I find my own talking shell friend one day so that we can hang.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 2021
On this most recent rewatch, I have decided I like Shang Chi more than I did once before, and it mainly has to do with its music.
I think overall Shang Chi feels to me like a phase one marvel movie, complete with everything that makes a phase 1 movie wonderful and everything that makes a phase 1 movie cheesy. It doesn’t always make the most sense but it’s sure to have great character moments and be a fun ride.…
