  Rewatched with a clear focus and honestly, it’s so close to being a good movie. Totally fair critique around too much focus on the time element and not enough in character development.

  Want to give it a higher score purely on concept and graphics and SAIL GP cameo but the characters are so bland

  Not as strong as the first one. Wasn’t sure if the writing was a bit cornier or maybe i was just used to the magic that made the first. Still a bone chilling film and the twists were awesome, super unclear what the actual ending was

  At no point did I feel like this movie had a clear direction or identity making it incredibly hard to fall for the ‘plot twists’ or character development. It was cinematic whiplash. The high school coming-of-age version of the Tenet. Each big moment felt short lived and hadn’t had the appropriate amount of time attributed to it. But somehow, the ending, tied it all together. It completely made me forget of all my disgust and frustration with the film.
