Punisher: War Zone 2008

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 2001
I don’t know why but the Black Riders are legitimately scary and threatening in the this movie in a way they aren’t in the sequels, probably because of the dark forest setting as opposed to flying around hovering over battles in the daylight. Peter Jackson goes into full on master of suspense mode in those chase scenes, You’d never think the guy behind all those in your face gorefests had it in him to be so subtle in building suspense.
