  History is often erroneously understood as actions and reactions, mostly spearheaded by Great Men. Men who are insular in their greatness, single agents of change. Oppenheimer takes a moment from history and blows it up—some pun intended—so that we may look upon a world on the brink of change.

  War movies are not usually something I gravitate towards, so I was pleasantly relieved with how Nolan handles the genre. This is not a war movie, it’s a character study on contradictions…

  Within seconds of Ani tossing her hair into the opening scene, Mikey Madison cements herself as a classic.

  Ani deals in the currency of conversation. She can talk her way into any man’s wallet, and she’ll talk you in circles if you try to steer her wrong. Scenes refuse to be commanded by anyone else.
