Taxi Driver 1976
I came back for a rewatch cause I didn't think much of it back then and thought I might enjoy it now, and......nope, still the same?
It's a solid movie, dazzling night cinematography, impeccable acting from DeNiro and just a very sound idea. I respect it.
I simply just don't give a crap about Paul Schrader's "God's lonely man" tropes, didn't grab me with Master Gardener nor even First Reformed. It just does nothing to me.

Paths of Glory 1957
There is no mistake why it's still sitting at the top on my top 100 list. You're way past the point to read or write a review for movies that you think of that highly.
I could rewatch this a million times and I will still cry during the last act, especially at that last scene.

A Woman Under the Influence 1974
Imagine seeing your parents argue as a movie for 2 and a half hours, that's the whole vibe of this movie, just the guilt and anxiety of "I don't think I should be listening to any of this".
I respect when any media makes feel something beyond just plain happy or sad. The standout of the movie is the acting of the two leads and specifically Gena Rowlands, like you're scared shitless from her and for her letting lose throughout the entire runtime.
You'll feel despair and emptiness by the end, but it doesn't reach the "misery porn" target.

Unforgiven 1992
For most of my westerns watched being the Leone once, this took an angle on westerns that surprised but impressed me later on. If I had to point out the not good stuff, I guess it's some lines during the first third that felt a exposition-y in a slightly forced way.
But Damn, the rest of the movie is perfect. Clint, Morgan, Gene and Jaimz were absolutely phenomenal. Especially in the last third where they all showed thier true colors. and what an ending.
Just make sure you don't go into it expecting a spaghetti western. There is some extra package in this.
