The final 15 minutes of this movie rocked me to my core. A well made film that was necessary watch in 1931 Germany with the rise of fascism.
Much of the history behind this film is so incredibly important to note:
Fact #1: Peter Lorre was Jewish and fled Germany in fear of Nazi persecution shortly after the movie's release. Fritz Lang, who was half Jewish, fled two years later.
