    This is a very relaxed, almost laid-back noir story about a guy who sings in nightclubs and also works as a private detective. His life gets complicated when a case gets him involved with local yakuza and he becomes the prime suspect in the murder.

    I think I appreciated this one more than full-blown liked/loved it. Sometimes this kind of movie, with a languid pace but chock full of style, is 100% my bag. But I could not fully connect…
