Sci-fi with Tom Cruise = always worth a watch. 
Just as fun as the first time I watched it.

Paul Newman in Hud plays against type.
It would be very easy to try to find the redeeming qualities in his character. They shimmer fleetingly from time to time, but his actions, inaction, and his very character illustrates his fundemental self serving nature - even to his own determent.  His lusts swallow him up, leaving him constantly grasping for more, tainting his relationships to everyone around him.
Hud is doomed to get exactly what he wants but never what he truly needs, through a mix of circumstance and his own desperate selfishness.

Exactly what you think it would be like. Perfectly adequate viewing if your in the mood for a suspense thriller with zero surprises.

So enjoyable to see this in a theater as an audience we were on a rollercoaster ride together. It had many sweet moments to match the action and humor throughout.
Felt like an epilogue for the previous Spider-Man movies. Really made me want to revisit them. Also left me wondering where the story will go from here.
