Do the Right Thing 1989
The controversy surrounding this films “message” is what makes this film so compelling. Spike Lee presents no solutions toward racial conflict but rather presents a glimpse into how tensions boil over into chaos.
It's crazy how certain moments in this film eerily mirror real events that unfolded long after the movie was released.
The kissing scene from 1:18:17 to 1:18:21 was edited in a way that made me think the movie was lagging. Until proven otherwise, I’m gonna see this as a technical mistake.Translated from by -

Ambitious? Sure.
However, the film tackles too many political/social topics (animal rights, colonialism, corruption, cloning, human trafficking) that the films loses focus and feels bloated. Many characters are one dimensional and feel more like caricatures from other movies. As one of my most anticipated movies of the year and coming from one of the best directors currently active, I’m pretty disappointed.Translated from by
