Tetsuo: The Iron Man 1989
Body horror out of this universe. Great horror film and dosent let you go from the offset. Very creepy, somewhat absurd and I would not watch this while on acid kids

The Killing of a Chinese Bookie 1976
A tale of a sad downtrodden strip club owner who’s gotten himself mixed up in some bad dept. The classic 70s style gives the film a timeless tale aspect of a man who can never be satisfied if he even knows what that is

The Hidden Fortress 1958
Gives you the genuine feeling that war is tearing up the peace and the characters are written well. The performance by Toshirô Mifune is always a highlight for me in Kurosawa movies. The mythical BADASS is a hard role to execute through acting without it coming across as cheap.

Tim Burton’s “Fine Dining”
Great performances across the board. Grandiose sets and camera movement. Unforgettable scenes of lust, horror and filth perfectly encapsulated within a theatricality driven descent into madness, betrayal and at points, monty python like black humour.
Micheal Gambon’s performance in this film is outstanding and frighteningly close to home. Every man fears to have any of those characteristics within themselves and that’s what makes him so powerful. Like a Tony S, if he was British and (drastically more) immoral
