  Well.  Every now and then you see a film and go ‘wow, how could there be anything possibly better than this?!’  The credits just rolled but I’ll make the bold statement that this is one of the greatest films ever made.  Thank you Mr. Ozu. 🙇🏻

  Oof.  Ringo really does let it f**king rip on this one.  Maybe this is the true masterclass in explosive violence, despair, and hopelessness.  Everything is broken here:  society, morality, any system of belief.  I am exhausted.
