I fell asleep halfway through, but when I finally watched the ending it made me sob!! The message is so beautiful and pertinent really. I wonder what Catholics would think of the movie? I realized I don’t know much about their modern faith except now I know they are major gossipers. I also expected more of the classic ornate Baroque style throughout the entire movie, instead the scenes more resembled the Masonic lodges I used to do Rainbow Girls stuff in.
