  I could write a novel on this movie and I might later in this review but for now I’ll just say it was a great choice to have fade into you play during the fight the two rival guys get into cuz of they girl. I read it as how when two men performatively  fight in public, they are in actuality expressing deep sadness which they cannot process healthily.

  If you walk out of here you’re only proving one thing, you don’t have what it takes to be a citizen

  I loved the first 45 minutes, if it had ended there , it would be four/five stars for me. Eggars is the one to go to revisit the origins of vampire lore n shit, the way he portrays him in the beginning with the journey, Romanian towns, castle , and very physical sucking of blood. It started out cutting edge no doubt.
  Eggars also made my personal favorite movie oat: the lighthouse. And he’s never missed imo until this one.…
