Absolutely amazing, fantastic soundtrack and a dense, slow burning plot that’s just fantastic. Genuinely up there with Akira, Princess Mononoke, GitS and Satoshi Kon’s movies as some of the greatest stuff to come out of Japanese animation. Can definitely see this being bumped up to a 5 star. Mamoru Oshii…one of the greatest in his field.

No idea what to rate this, but it is unlike anything else. Extremely reminiscent of parts of the Catilinarian Conspiracy naturally. It’s weird and ambitious and I’m glad I went to see it nonetheless.
