It wasn’t bad but why did the lighting have to be like a Tim Burton film. I get why (the warmth arrives at Orlock’s death) but I don’t know. Didn’t do it for me. The best lighting was in the part where the two children are praying. The shot with the carriage on the rode worked. Lily Rose Depp’s side of the story was the part that kept me going. That perspective was interesting to me.
The theater going experience was good though.
