  “I WANT THAT CHUBBY COMMUNIST GIRL OFF MY SHOW!”

  This movie is everything to me— my favorite as a kid (watched it on dvd about once a month) and still my favorite now. Tracy Turnblad is my ultimate role model: she’s SO enthusiastic, she lifts up everyone around her, and she doesn’t apologize for who she is. 

  The names in this movie rock. Penny Pingleton. Corny Collins. Link Larkin. Motormouth Maybelle. Are you kidding me?!
