  Okay, this was pretty sick. Fede Álvarez really knows how to create effective horror. He takes the franchise back to its more slasher roots. There was just the right amount of fan service too in my opinion. Except a certain hideous recreation of a dead actor…anyway, moving on. The sound design was immense and the visuals were a breathtaking feast.
