Barbie 2023
Has a soundtrack and set that brings joy, but could’ve been more if they chose to fully lean into satire. The elementary feminist conversations were disconnected from the tone and lacked effect. Give the Barbies a huge musical number and it would’ve hit as hard as “I’m just Ken.”
All in all a good time anyway.
