I enjoyed this so much but I’m not sure what that says about me… No plot line just vibes (criminal activity), stimulating colors, energizing score, and AI but done correctly. This is Spring Breakers for the dark web boys—now I feel like rewatching Spring Breakers.

IF I MAY SPEAK, this is one of the best 2000s teen movies. I remember being obsessed with the whole franchise and watched in secret in elementary school. The cast was perfect, I need Solange in more films! The Rihanna cameo was so serious! Yes some of the jokes are outdated, it was a little weird watching back for the first time in a while and noticing the semi racial and fatphobic jokes but this movie was a big deal to preadolescence me. So many iconic scenes but my favorite was Jesse crumping on Britney, that shit had me dead but also wanting to be her…
