  I was disappointed. Taking Paddington out of London feels like it lost a lot of identity and the many weird and wonderful characters the previous films enjoyed.

  The plot feels rewritten and surprisingly scattered for an A to B adventure storyline. Gina and the other children literally exist to stand at the side of scenes watching events unfold, adding pretty much nothing.
