The Clint Eastwood aura is a phenomenon unlike anything I have experienced. Respected, admired, feared, hated—these are just some of the associations I saw in Blondie’s interactions. Angel Eyes and Tuco were confident in their own right but never commanded the space the way Eastwood did.

One of the most influential movies of all time, its impact is evident in everything from Star Wars to Tarantino. Sergio Leone undeniably defined the Western genre, but this achievement would not have been…

Spotlight has one of Howard Shore’s best soundtracks while also showcasing expertly crafted and delivered dialogue. The film is filled with incredible performances—not just from the main cast but also from every actor portraying a survivor. Liev Schreiber was a new face for me, and he caught my attention a lot.

The subject matter makes me feel equally sad and mad. There’s a particular kind of evil in using faith—something meant to heal and guide—as a tool to manipulate, hurt,…

I found this pretty similar in almost every way to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly but just a bit worse. The music and cinematography were good and the story was definitely interesting but I found myself comparing a lot.

That final showdown had the same awesome feeling I got from Clint Eastwood in the other movie.

There's nothing too glaring to criticize about this but I just found it ok. It’s an amazing cast and I really liked the music. It’s just that I wasn’t super engaged with the story for whatever reason.

Edit: looked up the music and of course it’s someone I know: Alexandre Desplat

Ethereal, creepy, and downright disturbing—Nosferatu is a film that fills you with pure dread. Say what you will, but Robert Eggers absolutely nailed it when it comes to creating a world that makes you feel like you’re sinking into something dark and inescapable. This is easily one of the most disturbing films I’ve ever seen. There were so many moments where I found myself recoiling in disgust at what was happening on screen.

The music was incredible. It’s was just…

Definitely one of the best Marvel movies. I think I might have to move it up in my ranking.

The music is amazing. I think this is what originally made me pay attention to Ludwig Goransson before I loved him in The Mandalorian and Oppenheimer.

Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan are amazing. Probably one of the best ensemble casts in a movie too. Everyone just plays off of each other so well.

The cinematography was really interesting and there…
