I can appreciate the creativeness of the story and the complexity, which is actually it's only redeeming quality.
The two biggest things that keep me from enjoying this are that you need a PhD in Lynch studies in order to understand this, and it is soooooo Lynch. The same story told in a different way or from a different director maybe would have captivated me more, but I just did not enjoy it.
My first Meg Ryan movie I've seen. It's kinda funny to see the outdated parts of dialup and chatrooms, but it actually holds up pretty well. Overall pretty good movie.
Such a beautiful movie. The way they use music and colors to help tell the story is phenomenal, capturing your attention and imagination. The story is a classic tale of dreams, romance, and the conflicts that arise when chasing them, but it's not what happens that makes it special, it's how they show it. The way the characters develop, grow, and end up makes it worth watching and rewatching. I'll be playing their theme in my head for a few days after this.
